Exemptions

You may be exempted from a ZIBFS subject if you have successfully completed an equivalent subject at another institution. Exemptions are only available at Certificate and Diploma level, never at Professional Diploma level, and are graded “Exempt” on your transcript.

How to apply

1. Make sure you meet the minimum entry requirement of five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English.
2. Register as a ZIBFS member.
3. Complete the exemption application form and submit it with a detailed transcript of the results you are basing your application on.
4. Wait for a written response, usually within one week.
5. Pay the exemption fees as set out in your exemption letter.
6. The exemptions are credited to your transcript once the fees are paid.
